Challenge

SixStar started as a question: Why do most personality and creative-type tools force you into one fixed label, when most creative people are actually a blend of several? I'd researched personality testing tools and liked the idea behind them, but the framework kept isolating one facet of a person, maker, thinker, innovator, rather than reflecting the layered profile most creatives actually have. My challenge was to design something that could hold that complexity without becoming confusing or academic.

The Solution

SixStar is a six-trait quiz that scores you across Exploration, Motivation, Adaptation, Energy, Ambition, and Position, generating a unique six-letter code that's entirely your own. That code drives a generative art system, a personal constellation built from your specific blend of traits, so the output isn't a static label but something visual, ownable, and genuinely unique to you. I also built the entire visual language around that idea, dark, cosmic, expansive, because a constellation felt like the right metaphor for a creative identity that's made of many points connecting rather than one fixed type.
